Our Mission

Education Is How We Continue the Fight

The men of the 555th Parachute Infantry Battalion fought not just on the battlefield, but against every barrier that sought to limit what a Black American could achieve. They proved, with discipline, excellence, and sacrifice, that ability knows no color.

The Samuel Council Chapter Scholarship Program carries that same fight forward. We award annual scholarships to deserving students in the Fayetteville area, honoring the Triple Nickle legacy by opening doors and removing barriers for the next generation.

This program is made possible entirely through the generosity of our members, donors, and the community who believe, as the 555th did, that service and excellence go hand in hand.
